The Priest Home was founded by late Mgr. Ignace Ziadeh in 1991, and is currently administrated by Mgr. Bechara El Raî.

Up the mountain from the sea and across the crest, past small villages and the occasional flock of sheep, past the many green houses that scatter these hills, you eventually arrive at the Beit Kahen. The Priest Home, (Beit El Kahen in Arabic) is a sanctuary perfect for anyone seeking a place of solitude and serenity. Placed on the top of a hill, it has a panoramic view of the sea, the surrounding countryside, and the peaks of Mount Lebanon.

The Priest Home is the perfect place to retreat, reflect, and rejuvenate one’s soul. Meditate in the beautiful quiet chapel, or in one of the many serene gardens around the property.
